After all our hard work, I invited all the people from Body Shop to my house for a potluck dinner! Paleo was the theme, and I have to say we were very successful. I made my cilantro chicken recipe and then we also had:
- Spinach salad with strawberries
- Stuffed Pepper (my favourite dish of the night)
- Noodle-less lasagna
- Wings!
- Grilled veggies
- Coconut/dark chocolate bars (crazy great!)
- Wine, beer and water!
It was great fun to hang out with the gang and really get to know each other outside of the box. And the food was crazy delicious! So much so, I have already gotten the stuffed peppers recipe and I am excited to make it. Although, how does one rice cauliflower? I am going to have to google it. But I digress. I am so happy to finally be having a connection to the people there and to be making friendships. It’s those ties that get you to the gym, when you want to just sleep or watch tv. It happened today, I was home from work and I wanted nothing more than to fall asleep on the couch. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be, but I did have a wonderful workout! And I left feeling awesome, and that was worth the sleep.
