My friend Katie challenged me to do a 39 day fitness challenge with her over the weekend. She had done this a little while ago and I was inspired by her, so when she came to me to see if I would do this with her, I had to say yes. I wanted to do this, make a commitment to myself and challenge myself. So here is what I will be doing:
- Doing some form of exercise everyday for 39 days. Three days of the week I have to get a high heart rate. The other four days I can do something like yoga, a walk, anything that gets me moving. Since I don’t feel like paying for a yoga class (boot camp is expensive on its own) I think nice walks around my neighborhood will be the fun choice. I have to exercise for 20 minutes every day.
- I have to log what I am eating and try to eat clean. I am glad to do this, as I have gotten away from logging what I eat. This will be a good thing to do.
I am looking forward to this. I think I will take pictures of my food on the days when I am feeling inspired. And I plan to blog about this as much as I can to keep me accountable. So after this introductory post, I will write a new blog and tell you how my day went!
