Protein Pancakes

I thought I would take a moment to share one of my favourite recipes that is healthy and really helps me as a snack in the morning before lunch. It’s super easy to make and takes a few minutes to cook and you can have it either fresh and hot or cold. You also have two flavours of protein powder you can use for this–cinnamon bun or banana nut. I prefer banana nut, as it tastes a lot like banana bread. It makes me morning brighter!!

Here is the recipe, I encourage everyone who is working out consistently with weights to try this out. The protein powder with the egg whites really helps keep your metabolism going.

1/4 cup of rolled oats

1/4 cup of egg whites

1/4 cup of water

1 scoop of dessert protein powder–either cinnamon bun or banana nut flavour

Mix, cook like a pancake. It makes one pancake, which is plenty of snack for me.
