I haven’t written in here for a while. It is not because I have fallen off the wagon, oh no I have been working out steadily for the past 6 weeks. But then I got a cold. And the cold was killer. I wasn’t able to workout for ten freaking days! And when I did go back it might have been too soon because I had to stop part way through my run because my mouth was so dry and my nose was starting to flow. It was gross!
I met with Jacquie for my fit test on Friday and things mostly stayed the same. I couldn’t afford her for March and we were not able to coordinate our schedules for the tail end of February, so my fitness test being roughly where it was 6 weeks ago I feel is a good thing. In the past I have given up or started eating unhealthy when not under the watchful eye of my trainer. This time I kept going strong. So for my fit test I was able to do more push-ups, more squats, and run faster. I stayed the same with jumping jacks and my body measurements stayed the same.
Now though, that I am up in areas, I am terrified for my next workout with Jacquie! Before she was just trying to get me active, now I am active. She is going to kick my ass. I can feel it. I am mentally prepared for this Friday to be “Christine becomes an actual puddle of sweat”. She also has increased my workouts to 5 days a week. We will see, I will do my very best but some days life just happens! So I will do what I can.
And that is my update. Soon I will be even smaller and in better shape because this month I will be with Jacquie every week.
