Pushing Forward

I am going into my third week of working out with Jacquie and I went into yesterday’s workout thinking “today should be easier, because I have been doing this for two weeks“. Sadly Jacquie brought in her bag of tricks a harder workout than the week before, and totally kicked my butt. I did a crazy cycle of 10 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 crunches and 10 jumping jacks. I did this cycle 10 times. And that was only for part of my workout. I did jumping rope, I speed ran on the spot, I did squats on each leg for a minute (ok mostly) and more squats for a minute.

So out the window goes my notion that I will be able to walk into the workout and not get my ass kicked. Today I am the most sore I have been since I started with Jacquie. I never would have been able to push myself like this before. I am proud.
