As a fresh start to trying new things, this morning I picked up something new from Starbuck’s–the sugar-free Cinnamon Dulce Latte. I got it with skim milk, making it 190 calories. The server put a bit of cinnamon sprinkles on the foam top and it accented the drink nicely. Now for people who are used to the rich drinks of Starbuck’s this one will be a lot more thin and not as rich but I found I liked the flavour. I am normally a skinny vanilla latte girl but this is a good substitute when I am feeling like I want to mix it up. The last of the sugar-free syrups is hazelnut and I am trepidatious to try it. I might get it as a steamed milk, tall size so it isn’t as much of an investment.
I also plan to go to Fortino’s this week and try some Blue Menu items and write about them. I am already a fan of their chicken pot pie that has a potato topping and their angus burgers, so I am excited!
